| Hi, my name is Carla and I am the extraordinarily proud owner of this amazing company! I started this company after many years of not feeling satisfied or fulfilled in my Culinary career. It became increasingly difficult to find a job that would allow any decent quality of life outside the work place. So, I decided to put my management, customer service skills and keen organizational prowess to work and dove head first into Snappy Paws! Although I am very passionate about all things food, my other passion has always been animals! I especially love dogs! I have never been able to resist stopping to pet any dog walking my way! I will even go out of my way to pet a dog that catches my eye! I am so lucky to be able to spend each day hanging out with these amazing creatures! You will find me to be an extremely consistent, reliable, fair, and loving person. I will always treat you and your pet as I would wish to be treated myself. I will love your four legged friend as much as you do! I am flexible and will work with you to make certain your pet's needs are being met. Communication is the key to any great relationship! | Hi there! My name is Claire and I’ve always been a Chicagoan (despite a several year stint in South Korea). I’m living in the Lincoln Square area and I go to grad school at night. Although my masters will eventually be in linguistics, I have always been a serious dog lover (and walker). My own childhood dog, Zeke, is a shiba inu mix and a total weirdo, but he is definitely my baby. Sadly for me, he lives with my folks, so I will have to give all my doggie affections to your babies! | Hello! I'm Bethany. I've been walking dogs in Chicago on and off since 2005, including a stint with Snappy Paws in 2009. I spent the last few months working on a Master's Degree in Ethnobotany (people and plants!) in England and am now back in Chicago working on my thesis. I'm very excited to care for all of my new dog friends. Sadly, I do not currently have any pets of my own due to the uncertainties of the grad student lifestyle, but the good news is that your pets will be getting all of my animal affections! I'm sure we'll have the best time! |
| Hi everyone, I'm Matt. I just moved to Chicago in October of 2011, since I've always wanted to live here. My parents have had dogs since I was eight ... I think it's fair to say that we love our dogs more than some people love their kids (which says less about how little some people care for their kids and more about how much we do about our dogs). I don't have a dog now and haven't since I moved out of my parents' house, so it's lucky that I joined up with Snappy Paws. I've missed having dogs, so I'm thrilled to spend some time with yours! |
| Hello! My name is Megan Anstrom and I've been living in Chicago on and off since 2003. I have recently finished school and am now an independent contractor working on film editing. I live in Avondale with three cats, Nellie, Gidget and Prongs. Since I don't have any dogs, I usually have to go home and get my dog loving in with my parents six pugs! I am currently looking to rescue a dog, but I'm waiting until I know all of the animals will have the right environment to grow and get along. This is the first time I've ever been a dog walker, but I cannot wait to get started. I volunteered at the local animal shelter in my home town and socializing with the dogs was one of my favorite things to do. Thank you so much for this opportunity! |
